Potentilla (Cinquefoil)
A good rock garden or front of the border plant, Potentilla will form low, dense clumps of leaves which resemble those of a strawberry plant. It will also self sow.

| 'Nuuk' forms a low mat of shiny evergreen leaves, bearing small white flowers in late spring and early summer that resemble little buttercups. The foliage turns wine and bronze shades in the colder months.

| Alpine Cinquefoil is a delightful little carpeting plant that is nice for growing between flagstones or as a drought-tolerant lawn substitute. Single, yellow, buttercup flowers will nestle among the small evergreen leaves in late spring.
