Artemisia (French Tarragon, Sweet Annie)

Traditionally used to treat malaria, the young leaves are also made into tea and other preparations used to treat colds, fevers, and intestinal ailments. This herb is also a great cut or dried flower and can be easily fashioned into fragrant wreaths.

Artemisia dracunculoides (Russian Tarragon)  •  Zone 3

The leaves of Russian Tarragon will produce a very mild flavor seasoning. Feel free to pick the leaves as needed and divide every 3 years.

Great For:

  • Soups, stews and sauces
  • Poultry dishes
