Chelone (Turtlehead)
Chelone offers robust, stiff clumps with spikes that bear unusually curved, tubular blooms that resemble the heads of turtles. It will prefer moist soils, but watch for mildew problems. A long lasting bloomer for shady sites!

| Lush upright stems and foliage is stopped by spikes of two-lipped, creamy white flowers occasionally tinged pink in late July-August.
Great For: - Accent perennial or cut flower for wet areas
