Gillenia (Bowman's Root)
Bowman's Root is an American wildflower from the Northeast growing south to Alabama. Terminal clusters of thready, white blossoms about 1 inch across on bushy plants with compound leaves bloom in late spring to early summer.

| Small white to pinkish starry flowers appear on wiry reddish stems over serrated, mid-green foliage that gives the plant an airy look. This variety will remain attractive even after flowering thanks to the persisting dark red bracts.
