A vigorous grower which needs support to grow, this deciduous twining vine can achieve tree-like stature if given the opportunity.

These rapidly growing vines are covered in light violet-blue fragrant flowers during late May and June. The long, pendulous blooms are gracefully intermingled with large, compound, textural leaves.

'Amethyst Falls' produces plenty of fragrant, 4-6" clusters of lilac-purple flowers that appear in late May to June and also bloom sporadically through August! The vines are more behaved than other Wisterias and are clothed in textural, compound foliage.
