2010 Perennial Preview
We strive to bring you something new each season at Estabrook's. We work hard to select the best of the latest varieties being offered of not only
your favorite plants, but also ones we think are compelling and hardy enough to carry.
With that in mind, we'd like to give you a sneak preview of some exciting new perennial plants we'll be offering this season:
Astrantia major 'Venice'
The rich burgundy flowers of this variety are accented with lime green interiors and bloom from spring into summer amid
deep emerald green foliage. An upright habit makes the stems easy to cut.
Iris ensata 'Crystal Halo'
'Crystal Halo' produces huge, deep purple, 5-6" flowers with white picotee edging, dark purple veins and wide petals that
overlap to increase interest. The blooms arrive on elegant scapes in early July over vigorous clumps of mid-green sword-like foliage.
Sedum dasyphyllum
Fine blue-gray foliage that is tightly placed along the stem gives rise to clusters of white flowers striped lightly with pink
during late August to September. This is one sedum that prefers partial shade.
We're excited to offer these and many more new and interesting perennials this season. If you want to see more, the complete list of new perennial introductions is now available
