Trees and Shrubs to Look Forward to in 2008
At Estabrook's we strive to bring you something new each season and work hard to select the best of the latest varieties being offered of not only your favorite plants, but ones we think are compelling and hardy enough to carry.
This year, we're proud to announce a number of new trees and shrubs that we think will provide you with a fresh look to your landscape this spring while offering textural interest and vivid blooms. Among the new selections, here are a few varieties that we think you'll especially enjoy:

Acer palmatum dissectum 'Tamukeyama' Weeping branches of red, dissected leaves grow into a graceful mound. 'Tamukeyama' will take on even more character as it ages. |

Cornus mas 'Golden Glory' With bright yellow clouds of blooms in March, this is one of the first trees to flower in our landscape! The foliage is glossy green and the light brown bark has an exfoliating quality. Shiny red berries cover the burgundy foliage in fall. |

Rhododendron maximum 'Compactum' 'Compactum' features large, olive green leaves with tan undersides on compact plants. Large flowerheads emerge in late June to July and are pink in bud before fading to white. |

Hydrangea paniculata 'Pinky Winky' Strong, upright red stems hold the massive, two-toned, white and pink flowers in mid-July so you never get the "drooping" look of other varieties of hydrangea. Older flowers will turn dark pink as new flowers continue to emerge white! |
