Restore Your Lawn with a Grass Repair Kit

Grass Repair Kits include everything you need to restore your lawn
Did the snow plow rip up your lawn this winter, leaving you with brown, bare or thin spots?
Luckily there's an easy solution to getting your lawn back into shape. Grass Repair Kits from ENCAP make rehabbing your lawn quick and easy, while also providing you with a unique indicator that tells you when to water.
An All-in-One Solution
Repairing a damaged lawn usually means buying seed, fertilizer, mulch, soil conditioners, straw and more. With your Grass Repair Kit, everything is included and straw isn't even required - all you have to do is add water!
To get started, simply follow these directions:
- Loosen the top 2-3 inches of soil
- Apply the product evenly
- Gently rake the area to work your seed into the soil
- Water at least twice daily for three weeks
"Water Me" Technology
Though water is the single most important element to establishing turf, watering is often the most neglected aspect by most homeowners. Each Grass Repair Kit includes a watering indicator that let's you know when it is time to water.
By simply observing the color of the mulch and appearance of the cross-linked polymer (PAM), you have a visual indicator to know when watering is needed. When dry, the mulch color is light green, and the PAM is reduced to a very small size. When wet, the mulch turns a darker green color and the PAM appears to swell into crystals (or diamonds) on the soil, serving as an indicator that enough water has been applied (stopping you from watering too much). This indicator will last approximately 3-6 weeks, depending on conditions, to get your new turf grass off to a good start.
As the soil and seed dry off, the mulch color turns back to a lighter color and the PAM polymer simply "disappears" again, signaling the need to water again. This will change back and forth, taking the guess work out of watering. Amazing!
