Take the hassles out of planting trees, shrubs and more with our all-new Planting Service. For as little as $50 per plant, we'll get your plants into the ground and off to a good start.

Is Planting Available in My Town?

Our planting area is the same as our delivery area. We'll plant throughout Southern Maine!

Which Plants are Eligible?

ANY of our plants are eligible for our Planting Service. There is no restriction on numbers or price.

How Does It Work?

Simply pick out your favorite plants at either of our locations in Yarmouth or Scarborough, and ask for our planting service at the register. We'll give you colored stakes to place in your yard to indicate where you'd like the plants placed. If you're not sure where to place them, our garden professionals would be happy to discuss this with you.

Who Will Be Planting?

Tim Walsh, our Plant Before You Plant design consultant will do all the planting. Once your stakes are placed, simply give Tim a call at 207-756-2141 and provide him with your name, address and stake locations. He'll arrange DIG-SAFE to visit your site (usually 2-3 business days) and have them identify any underground utilies to avoid.

How Long Will It Take?

Once DIG-SAFE has visited your site, Tim will plant your material within 7 days. All plants will be planted at grade level (no mounding) with a light layer of mulch.

How Much Does This Cost?

The following pricing applies:

To get your plantings off to a good start, amendments MUST be purchased from Estabrook's with each plant. Choose from Bumper Crop Soil, Coast of ME Quoddy Blend Compost, or Coast of ME Penobscot Compost & Peat.

We will advise you on proper amounts upon purchase. For large-scale plantings, bulk material is also an option.

Can I Get Everything Delivered?

YES! If you're eligible for planting, you're eligible for delivery. Normal delivery fees apply.
